As salamu alaikum wa rahmatuh Allah wa barakatuh
We have been in Indonesia for two and a half years now, and everyday life has long caught up with us. Hardly anything new happens, and yet there is a lot to report.
My older son has been back in Germany for a year now. Since he couldn’t work here and wanted to earn his own money, he left us. During Ramadan this year, he visited us. We’d love to be together again.
Currently, I’m alone with my youngest. Since he has always been more of the creative type, he’s now trying to be a designer for brand identities, logos, campaigns, etc.
He is happy to receive orders, and you are welcome to contact him.

ToggleIndonesia brings new challenges
Now to me. Since I was always very committed to the Ummah in Germany, I really missed being able to do something meaningful here. I was always looking for projects that I could support.
I did create and manage donations projects but there was never anything that seemed to make sense in the long term. After many prayers and supplication, I was heard by ALLAH swt and finally found a project that is worth investing my time in.
Invitation to Lombok, Indonesia
But let’s start from the beginning. My youngest son and I were invited to Lombok for the Festival of Sacrifice (Eid ul Adha) this year. A generous donor paid for our flight and hotel so that we wouldn’t have to spend Eid alone like we did in previous years. May ALLAH reward him richly for it. Amen. Please make dua‘ for him.
If we ever get there, we want to stay for a week and look for cheap accommodation after the celebration of Eid ul Adha. ALLAH was kind to us and sent us a second donor so that we could stay in the hotel, which was very nice but too expensive for us. May ALLAH richly reward this donor for his generosity. Amen. Please make dua‘ for him too.
In the last days of this week, we were there alone and explored the island of 1000 mosques a little bit with the scooter. And there we got to know two lovely people who created a new project in Indonesia.
A new project in Indonesia
Angelika, a sister from Germany, and her Turkish husband, Özer, They live on Lombok and build an orphanage with a school for the children there.
I would like to support this beautiful project and ask for your help.
I am looking for brothers and sisters who are doing small fundraising projects in Germany or elsewhere. Perhaps you own a store and hold campaign days where a portion of the proceeds are donated. Maybe a cake stand, flea market, or something similar.
Narrated Sahl:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, „I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,“ showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5304
I founded a Telegram group for that. Be among the first to join us and contribute to a brighter future for orphans.
I’m looking forward to your messages and comments here and on Telegram.
May ALLAH support every project and reward everyone who contributes to its success. Ameen.
